CMLS serves 21 counties within Minnesota. Within our service area, there are 237,998 people living in poverty.

Justice Gap in America

LSC released a report on the justice gap of low-income Americans.

In the past year, 71% of low-income households experienced at least one civil legal problem, including problems with domestic violence, veterans’ benefits, disability access, housing conditions, and health care. Only 20% sought professional legal help.
