Call the Anoka County Law Librarian at (763) 422-7487 to schedule an appointment. A CMLS attorney will be available to review legal papers, answer questions about the law, and tell people about court procedures. CMLS attorneys provide brief services and do not represent clients who come to the clinic. Our attorneys can advise client about divorces, orders for protection, child support motions, custody matters and parenting time/visitation. Meetings take place in the Anoka County Law Library-Charlie Weaver Room.

Financially eligible clients who have questions regarding civil legal matters may call 320-212-6395 to speak with an attorney. To be eligible, client's household income must be at or below the 125% of federal poverty guidelines. Serves residents of the following counties: Big Stone, Chippewa, Kandiyohi, Lac qui Parle, Lincoln, Lyon, Meeker, Renville, Swift, and Yellow Medicine. Pre-registration is not required.

In order to be eligible, the client’s household income must be at or below 125% of the federal poverty guidelines. Pre-registration is required. Hope 4 Youth is a youth drop-in center serving youth 16-23. A CMLS attorney is on-site the last Thursday of the month from 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. and available to provide brief advice/information regarding a wide variety of civil legal issues.
