CMLS on COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

COVID-19: At this time, all CMLS in-person legal clinics are cancelled. CMLS attorneys are still available for advice over the phone. To speak with an attorney, contact our Intake line to see if you qualify for our services.

Many CMLS clinics require pre-registration. If you are registering to attend a clinic, you will be asked to conduct that meeting over the phone.

Financially eligible clients who have questions regarding civil legal matters may meet individually with volunteer attorneys for 20 minute appointments at the St. Cloud Public Library. In order to be eligible, the client’s household income must be at or below 125% of the federal poverty guidelines. Pre-registration is required and walk-ins will not be accepted.   To register, please call the Volunteer Attorney Coordinator for CMLS St. Cloud at 320-257-4873.

Call the Anoka County Law Librarian at (763) 422-7487 to schedule an appointment. Free lawyers are available for 1 hour appointments. Lawyers can review your legal papers, answer questions about the law, and advise you about court procedures. Lawyers can advise about divorce, orders for protection, child support, spousal maintenance (alimony), custody and parenting time (visitation). Meetings take place in the Anoka County Law Library.
