Financially eligible clients who have questions regarding civil legal matters may meet individually with volunteer attorneys for 20 minute appointments at the Wright County Law Library (inside the Wright County Government Center). In order to be eligible, the client’s household income must be at or below 125% of the federal poverty guidelines. Pre-registration is required. A CMLS or Judicare attorney is available to meet with and provide advice to low-income clients who meet financial eligibility criteria. Attorneys are available on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th Monday of each month. A Judicare attorney is available one of these days each month. Meetings are held in a conference room outside of Courtroom 411. No pre-registration necessary.

This clinic is held monthly in partnership with the Volunteer Lawyers Network (VLN). No pre-registration is necessary. There will be an information session followed by an opportunity to meet individually with an attorney regarding whether you qualify for expungement. Eligibility Requirements Be off probation or parole for: 10 years for violent felonies 7 years for violent gross misdemeanors 5 years for nonviolent felonies, violent misdemeanors 1 year for nonviolent misdemeanors.
