Criminal Expungement Clinic

Expungement is the process of going to court to ask a judge to seal a court record.  People request an expungement when they have been denied a job, housing, or a professional license because of a criminal incident that shows up on a background check.

Attend an information session and meet individually with an attorney regarding whether this is a realistic option for your situation.  No pre-registration is necessary.

The Criminal Expungement Clinic will be held at the Rum River Library, 4201 Sixth Avenue, Anoka, MN 55303.

The Anoka County Family Law Clinic provides lawyers who may be able to review your legal papers, answer questions about the law, and advise you about court procedures. These lawyers provide brief service but they do not represent you.

The attorneys can advise you about: divorces, orders for protection, child support motions, custody matters, and parenting time (visitation).

The clinic meets in the Anoka County Law Library. Participants must pre-register by calling the law library at (763) 422-7487. Appointments are made for one-hour meetings. Please bring all paperwork you have filed or received for your case to your appointment.
