Date:
03/25/2010 - 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Central Minnesota Legal Services, in partnership with the Sherburne County Law Library and local attorneys, sponsors a free onsite Legal Advice Clinic at the Wright County Government Center.   Clinic services are offered every Thursday from 12:00 noon  to 1:00 p.m.  Clinic activities are held within Wright County Law Library, located on the lower level of the Wright County Government Center.

Patrons are received on a first come - first served basis and are asked to bring their court papers, as well as all related Court orders (past and/or present) and related documents. Walk-in assistance is available.  Appointments may be scheduled in advance, though priority status for individual consultation remains established subject purely to first-come, first-served on-site arrival.   Appointments may be made by contacting John McCooley, Law Librarian at 763-682-7592.

Clinic services are limited to unrepresented persons seeking guidance in matters of family law and related civil actions.  Individual sessions involve a one time consultation with an experienced local attorney.   No attorney-client relationship, ongoing service arrangement or general representation agreement is established in conjunction with receipt of clinic-based services.  Clinic staff are available to provide general legal and procedural information to participating patrons.  Assistance is also available in identifying, locating and completing standard court forms.    Children are welcome, though adult supervision is required.
